Ahhh Friday. The weekend is here, along with your Friday 5.
Classic Album of the Week
What I’m Pondering
The Kites and the Swans, from Aesop’s Fables:
“The Kites of old time had, equally with the Swans, the privilege of song. But having heard the neigh of the horse, they were so enchanted with the sound, that they tried to imitate it; and, in trying to neigh, they forgot how to sing.”

How I’m Feeding the Muse
Tour! I’m leaving next week for a short tour with my band, Alvie and the Breakfast Pigs. We’ll be in Ft. Collins, Denver, Colorado Springs, Salt Lake City, Seattle, and Portland. If you live in any of those towns and like loud rock n’ roll, check out the details here!
Book I’m Reading
Ok, this isn’t an exciting topic for everyone, but important to our longterm wellbeing. I learned a lot about personal investing in Unshakeable, and I’m on track for a much better retirement because of it. Tony Robbins is known for his speaking, and there are varying opinions about that. But in this book, he does an excellent job of making wealth creation accessible to people who aren’t from the world of finance (e.g. Music Therapists).
That’s it for this week!

Have a great weekend,

PS For Guitar Club members, I just added a lesson on “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran.
