Friday 5

By February 2, 2018Friday Five
Happy first Friday of February!
I want to start with some special shoutouts. Over the last few months, I’ve asked for some help covering costs of maintaining the website and email list so that I can keep delivering the Friday 5. I’m SO appreciative, and want to personally thank Jeffrey, two Rachels, Marilyn, Sheila, and Tori supporting the Friday 5 in January and several months prior. If you would also like to help, please visit MTS Love.
Here is your Friday 5 for today!
What I’m Listening To
Utopia by Björk, released in November last year. She’s quirky, she’s eccentric, she’s brilliant, and I love her, swan dress and all.
What I’m Learning on Guitar
A patient introduced me to this Chili Peppers song that somehow I missed. I really enjoyed learning the guitar intro that returns at the end of the song as well. The song is The Longest Wave. Interesting chord progression, too. What are you learning?
What I’m Reading
The Handbook of Jungian Play Therapy with Children & Adolescentsby Eric J. Green. Maybe you can tell that I’m going down a bit of a Jungian rabbit hole…
Quote I’m Pondering
“We look at the present through a rear-view mirror. We march backwards into the future.” Marshall McLuhan
Productivity Tip
Ever watched a video on YouTube or elsewhere and wished you could speed it up? This extension for Google Chrome does just that, and I’ve used it to save a lot of time.
Have a great weekend,
Matt
