Here we are, entering November. It kind of feels like 2018 just began…but then again, I guess we say that every year. Maybe a year really isn’t that long, and we had better relate to time with some seriousness. Make those calls, take those trips, and drink those special wines when they’re ready, not a day later.
Here is your Friday 5 🙂
Conference
If you’re going to the AMTA conference in Dallas, I invite you to put a couple sessions on your calendar. On Friday at 2:15, I’ll be presenting with fellow MT-BC and guitarist, Evan Reiss, on clinical guitar skills. Specifically, we’ll dissect a few modern songs in different styles and learn how to reproduce them on acoustic guitar. On Saturday, my UCSF colleagues and I will be presenting on short-term and long-term interventions in pediatric palliative care. That one is at 11:15. Reply with any questions.

What I’m Also Reading
Halloween always seemed like such a peculiar holiday to me, so I’ve been reading a little about the history.
